website Solitary Vireo and Other Stories Liisa Ahlfors (b. 1985) is a visual artist based in Tampere, Finland. Graduating from Aalto University, School of Art, Design and Architecture’s Master Degree Programme of Environmental Art (2015), her work is usually fed by the challenge of a new environment. Responding to encounters with sites, situations, or objects she often creates temporal installations directly on the space of their representation. For Fusion Art Gallery/INAUDITA she will present works that relate to her recent interest of using text and particularly literature as a material.
